I got my month worth of paycheck to get those new joints last saturday Jan 22 2011, but the release date wasnt on my side. Big shout out to my girl Shan for hustling down a pair of AJ III's. I didnt had the time to fall in-line outside the mall since I got work on Saturdays, she insisted instead. She ran and out hustled boys and men aside just to get a pair at Nike Park, well she did it and was 7th in line. Got the last pair of size 9's and didnt gave a f*ck if she's the only girl around elbow rubbing dudes. Now can I say my girl got balls?! Yeah whatever!? Haha.

Last December during our 2 day reunion at Bataan, I spotted my aunt rockin' some dope kicks. If I'm not mistaken, she's close to being 60, but she still flossin'.
It was a humbling experience this december, first off I was able to cop the Jordan 13 "Altitude" courtesy of my girl Shan who bought it as a Christmass present for me, and before that I was able to buy a Jordan 6 white/varsity red last July for my first pay check. Then I eventually quit my job last September and got bummed for two months, but before the holiday season started, I found a new one which was last November. Well enough about that, I was just amazed that i copped three pairs of J's in a year. . . which never happened before.

Last December 22, I pushed my holiday doughs to the limit. I've been eyeing the Jordan 11 'Cool Grey" for a couple of months(thanks for the help of sneakernews.com and a couple of sneaker blogs around the net) which MJ wore when he became a player for the Washington Wizards. Not all Nike stores would have the chance to get them, Nike BHS I think had 40 pairs to release, Nike stadium st Shangri-La mall told me that thier goin' to have just 15 pairs. So I eventually ended lining up at Titan (barber/sneaker shop co-owned by Jeffrey Cariaso) located at Burgos Circle The Fort. My girl accompanied me during that night, we arrived at roughly 7pm so we had our fill first at Sugar House for dinner and made a rush at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for our take out beverage and went straight at Titan.When the clocked striked 9pm, they handed out number stubs/bracelets and we were free to roam around and be back at quarter or before 12am. My stub was number 18, only 36 pairs are available so I dont even have an idea if i was strong for those size 9's. Me and Shan took a quick peek on my trust worthy old car/jeep, unfortunately..
After that, we strolled around Burgos Circle and grabbed a bite at Mcdonalds. 11:45pm, I guess we headed back at Titan and waited for my number to be called. Tuh Duh...!!! I got my size 9's, but bad luck for the man infront of me cause he didnt got his size. he was a size 11 but it quickly ran off, he just took the size 12's.. hope it fits him just as good.
We immidiatley took off and went home cause we still have wrk on the following day. Mad props to the guards and the driver who helped me jump start my car.
MJ wore the Cool Grey's when he was a Wizard for his last appearance on Madison Square Garden on 2003, it was also my birthday thats why the shoes has a special place in my feet. He dropped 39 pts but lost, although he put an astonishing performance, maybe thats why the shoes became legendary.. rather iconic.

Missed a couple of cop worthy Jordan releases last 2010 like the infrared VI pack, white/red and Flint 13's. But happy with my varsity red, cool grey and altitude.
Well this Jordan flight 1 would be my most worn pair for the year 10' and probably my most favorite. It could just be meshed up or rather combinations of numbered J's, but I like how it looks and fit on my baggy pants, as well as the material they used here. Buttery leather and who could go wrong with black.
Its been very good year for my sneaker watch, thanks to all involved on my hunt and hopefully this 2011 I could get more quality sneakers. (Salute!)
