Caught Pare Ko! at Cinema One this morning, and I was like.. damnnnn... one of my favorite movie when I was a kid, back in 94' or 95' it is. Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana, Jao Mapa, Victor Neri and Gio Alvarez was the hearthrobs, they were the coolest back then, and the story rotates at friendship/peers and girls/chiks, corny but good though. 90's era was like the classic years for me, go wit the flow lang, baduy kung baduy. Whatever get up was cool, long sleeves, baggy pants, DM's or basketball rubber shoes was good. Seems the "baduy" word wasnt invented back then. Hangin' out was just it, talkin' through your land line's the best thing you could do at home and it was cool. Man, I mis those years, but the only thing strucked me most was at the end of the film, Makie (Jomari) spitted out "Wag muna natin isipin ung darating, isipin muna natin ung nangyayari ngaun". Damn he was right..
90's would be teh best decade!
