The Vera vs Couture fight was a tough one, Brandon Vera inflicted more damage than Couture did. Who ever watches UFC fights know Randy Couture, he's a legend and a fan favorite, but not this time, uh-uh, a no no. All Randy did was to put Vera in a clinch and did no serious damage, a couple of sheen, a lousy fist on the face and thats just it. A boring fight plan of his, he didnt even managed to put Vera on the ground like he always do to other opponents. While Vera did a great job of landing high kicks and Muay Thai kicks to the mid-section which sent Randy down in pain during the second round. Vera also took Couture down on the last dying seconds of the final round, but couldnt finish. But still, it wasnt necessary as we all know that Vera was way ahead of the score cards. Randy Couture won by unanimous decision, that was ridiculous. Even Joe Rogan couldnt believe it, Couture himself too. Vera sat outside the octagon in disbelief when Buffer announced the decision, but as classy as a Filipino, he managed to come back inside and got himself interviewed. He just got robbed, like most of the audience thought and I think its not yet the end of Vera, he has a bright future to come.
